(New) Donate to the Hawks Youth Basketball Program!
The Hawks are excited in the roll-out of a new fundraising website on eBay to support the continued development of our basketball program! We have created a new eBay store on the Online Marketplace of Delaware website where you can donate items to be sold in the store with proceeds from the sale going to the Hockessin Hawks organization (or purchase existing items in the store!). A good example of something that can be donated is sports tickets. If you have extra tickets (such as Phillies tickets) please consider donating the tickets and we can sell them for you with proceeds going to the Hawks organization. Click Donate here or on the top section of this page to go to the Hockessin Hawks eBay store.
The Hockessin Hawks basketball program was established as a 501c non-profit organization with all donations tax deductible. Any questions about our fundraising program and how you can donate items or money, please contact Bob at hawks@hockessshawks.com.

Hawks Close 2011 Summer Season Winning 6 of 8 Games!
The Hawks successfully closed the 2011 Summer season winning 6 out of 8 games. Excellent contributions were made by all players. The team used aggressive man-to-man and half court trapping defenses to keep opponents off-balance and create offensive opportunities on the break. Michael Dinardo set the tone in many games with pressure defense on the point, while scoring inside and outside. Michael was one of the team's MVPs. Chris Rogers was one of the team's most productive and versatile players. Chris contributed both on the inside and outside and often was found leading the fast break. Kevin Lutus used his excellent speed, ball-handling, and shooting skills to be a major contributor at the 1 and 2 guard positions, while playing aggressive defense on the opponent's guards causing many steals and fast break opportunities. Seth Bialecki is a great athlete and natural scorer who was able to use his speed and quickness to find scoring opportunities on the break and in the half court set. Carter Benham demonstrated his excellent shooting form throughout the season giving us an effective outside threat. Carter had an exceptional work ethic and attitude. Tyler Broccoli used is speed and quickness to be a major contributor on offense and defense and was one of our most improved players. Andrew Hudson showed great athletic ability on both ends of court and we used his aggressive defense to guard some the opponent's top guards. Chris Lazear showed great improvement during the season. His rebounding and shooting skills were on display in many mid-to-late season games. Jack Leonard used his exceptional speed and ball handling skills to lead our team at the point guard position. Jack consistently plays hard and aggressive. Eric Ludman used his big man skills effectively to give the team a strong inside presence. Carson Reynolds was not able to attend many games, but gave the team a lift with his athleticism and speed. He is one the team's best defenders.
